Tommy had a B-day!

I have fallen a little behind on my blogging, so I will try to catch up this week. Thomas had a Birthday on December 17th, he turned 33! Mary and Brent had a nice dinner for him.
We had king crab as an appetizer, and halibut for our entree. Tommy asked for a funfetti cake with pink icing and received just that, adorned with some sesame street characters.

Tommy and I had asked for a manure fork for Christmas, so Shane and Ashley gave Tommy one for his birthday. If you're wondering what the heck we want with a manure fork, I'll tell ya. We have two compost bins in our backyard and they have become impossible to turn without "the fork"!

The following Friday, Tommy took the youngest boy Pitcher to the top of the mountain and made him ride a snowboard down. This is something Shane has done only twice and that was a while ago. He did great and they had a fun time together!

Next blog will be all the Christmas fun, but for now it's Tommy's b-day!

PS My grades are final and it is official.......I am a college grad! Love you all, hope your holidays were as great as ours! More later..................

Thanksgiving...Guitar Hero...FESTIVAL OF TREES.....SNOW!!!!!

Thanksgiving was wonderful! Our Thanksgiving companions were the Shane Pitchers, Mom & Dad Pitcher and Roy. Mary cooked an amazing dinner! It was a really nice quiet day and then...

....and then the Justin Pitchers came over for pie! After a day of eating, Kaiden and Keagan were still ready for more! They are soooooo much fun! Mak sang us her abc's and some Christmas tunes and the boys, well...watch this video. It's short and sweet, Kaiden can whistle!

On Thanksgiving Roy let us take home his "Guitar Hero" for XBox 360. It is the most fun I have ever had playing a video game! Tommy says it's all about your stance. Chris is the best out of all of us at this game, so you tell me if stance matters.

I put up the Christmas inside and Tommy put up the Christmas outside....just in time! Woohoo snow!

Sara twisted my arm and talked me in to going tothe Festival of Trees. HA! Imagine me in a place covered in Christmas wall to wall. Needless to say it is the coolest place going right now! Tommy, Chris and the girls came and everyone was such a good sport! They let Sara and I walk as slow as we wanted to! It was awesome! Sara and I might try to enter a tree next year. For those who are unfamiliar with the Festival of Trees: People donate decorated trees and gifts, people bid on them and all the money goes to charity. It is sooooo great!
I know I am so lame, but really I don't care.

Tommy found lots of the good stuff. He kept us all nourished with the assortment of goodies they had to offer.

Here are some of the highlights.....

This is us on the last row of trees. We were crying inside, but didn't want to let it show.
PS Let the countdown begin...I have 4 classes left! Then I'm free!!!!!

If anyone needs me...I'll be right here.

So for the next three weeks I really will be right here. Maybe not in this book exclusively, but in some book or another. So, don't feel bad if I don't get back to you for a while.

Hope everyone had a happy Halloween! It was pretty quiet around here, we still have a ton of candy left. Tommy was....he uhh....well....ummm...he was entertaining. Sara and I got super creative and put on witches hats, I know I know so original! Love those Fundersons!

David's big party was last weekend, there are no pictures. Apparantly they don't allow cameras where they went. Not sure what kind of place doesn't allow cameras, must have been pretty ritzy! The next morning we all went to breakfast, around 11:00 and then for a "hike" around Silverfork Lake up Big Cottonwood canyon. This is the Sunday snowboarding crew.

Tommy and Lauren had a great time trying to get under the sheet of ice covering the lake. Ellie is too smart for that. She just sat in her comfy little stroller tisk tisking the shenanigans of Tommy & Lauren. Was such a great day! FYI-Lauren & Ellie belong to Mike D & his wife Emily.

I'm on top of the world!

Yup, that's Tommy. Nope that's not an old picture, this is from last Wednesday.
Tommy couldn't wait any longer, he needed to go snowboarding. He hiked to the top of Alta and rode down, taking some beautiful pictures along the way.

Millie will be 5 on Oct. 30, so she had herself a princess party.
The crown and sash were part of her present from us.

Dar and Elizabeth had a beautiful baby boy on Thursday Oct 25th after 30 hours of labor little Ethan Hyde Quealy was born 7 lb 11 oz, 21 in long and a head of dark hair. Tommy and I met him on Friday at the hospital. Everyone is now home, happy and healthy! Congrats!!! He is soososososososossosoosso precious!

I'm tired today and I'll tell you why. Tami had her bachelorette party last night, we went to sushi then bowling where Tommy and David met up with us! What a great night, I bowled pretty well. Tami and Dave are leaving next Sunday for New Zealand! Can't wait to hear all about it when they get back!

Snowfever! Car crashes! Need I say more......

Yup, that's my yard! Oct 21st marks the second snowfall we've had in the valley this year!
With cold weather, comes snowfever. Symptoms are usually mild, but may include; watching snowboard videos, waxing boards, talking about "epic" days on the mountain and in extreme cases planning hikes when there is only 12 inches on the ground. If someone you know is suffering from this illness, please contact the nearest ski resort ticket office.

Last weekend Tommy trimmed our ginormous tree in the back. Wally and I drank beer and supervised.

Last Sunday we were late to dinner at Tommy's mom and dad's because we were in a car accident. Neither of us were hurt because we weren't actually in the car as it was parked out front of our house, but we were home. One of the neighbor kids wasn't paying attention and ran right in to the back of our car. He has only been driving a month, poor guy. I think the pictures say it all.......
