Sorry Mom. Not Catsup, Catchup!

Lots of catching up to do! I haven't been lazy, our computer has been picky! All is well after a good MANUAL registry reorganizing and a McAfee update! This is just a picture of a crazy vehicle Tommy and I passed on the interstate. I guess Hershey's Kisses are 100 years old. WooHoo!

Tommy's brother Justin had a track meet at our loan peak park. Makayla and I played while the kids ran.

We had crab night and I didn't take any pictures, dumb. We had 16 friends over, steamed up a ton of crab and made another ton of food to go along with it. The rain poured all night, but our good friends Dar and Elizabeth brought over their "tent". It had walls and fit 2 banquet tables, a card table and a kids table. When the rain finally let up, we finished off the night around the fire pit. This is the third year we have done this and although nothing will top the first, it was a great time. See you next year for the fourth!

Since then fall decorations have gone up.
Spooky decorations have gone up.

Tommy finished the garage.

I helped, a little.

Millie is always eager to help!

We needed a warm place for the dogs to be all winter, so the garage is now furnished with insulation, drywall, "good stuff", a couple coats of paint, trim and a fancy new dog door!

Tommy has found a place to put his turntables, on which he can now mix metallica and britney together as loud as he wants!

Oh! While we were working on the garage, a B-52 bomber was flying overhead!

Hang in there, I'm almost done!

Last Friday the "Fundersons" came over from across the street and we ordered calzones from Nevole's Pizzeria. They were HUGE! We ordered two; Tommy and I shared one, Chris and Sara shared one. There were plenty of left overs, Tommy and Chris couldn't even finish it all!

Elli doesn't like pizza...or clothes, but she loves Jaynay and Tonna and she tells one hell of a knock knock joke!

Last, but certainly not least, we had a great storm over the weekend that left us with a foot and a half of snow in the mountains and a beautiful view from our front door! Enjoy!

Adventures in Babysitting!

Last week Justin & Ashley asked if we would watch the kids so that they could see Spamalott. I have class on Tuesday and Thursday nights, so Tommy was on his own! He had the best time. Tommy took them to the park for a while. When they returned home Mak made mud pies and actually had a few bites, the boys wrestled with each other and giggled the whole time. I arrived just in time for baths, snacks, stories and bedtime. Tommy said that Makayla, Kaiden & Keagan are so well behaved and fun to be around.

Peek-A-Boo!

Tommy drew hopscotch for Makayla. Kaiden stole my shoes.

This is just cute!

Tommy and Makayla made pudding for a bedtime snack. we had so much fun, thanks for playing!

Sunday with the Weisses

So...we have these great friends that we see pretty much every Sunday during the winter months and then come summer we kind of all disappear, only to return to the norm again in the fall. Meet Tami and David, aka the Weisses. They have been together for about 100 years and have now decided to make it official. CONGRATS guys! They will be leaving for New Zealand on November 4, returning on December 4 and getting hitched somewhere in between.

David called us up on Sunday and asked us to join he and his fiance on a hike. We met them up Albian Basin and walked as far up as time would allow.

I am always amazed at just how beautiful Utah is, whatever the season.

It was a great day, but we can't wait for it to start snowing, those are really great days!

The house had a garage so they had to put up a tent and have a party.

Braham in the morning. This is the perfect place to sit around and drink coffee.

Franny's Party

Just checkin the weeds....

The house was full so we camped onthe front lawn. The weather was perfect for sleeping outside.

Mark cleared out the garage and this old bmx bike was found. Luckily there was also an air compressor. It was fun to ride around the driveway.

Putting the flag pole back up in front Franny house in Braham Minnesota.

Escalante backpack trip

Escalante backpack trip . . . pre-fire

Escalante fire

This is the tree that was shading our campsite, it was hissing and the flames looked like a demonic face . . .seriously . . . it was freaky.

This was our campsite.
